Louisiana Powerball Winner Must Claim $50,000 Winnings Now

Check your older Powerball tickets if you purchased one in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area because you only have a few hours to claim your winnings.

A Powerball ticket purchased at the Racetrac store on Burbank Drive in July 2024 was a winning ticket and the person who won $50,000 has yet to come forth.

According to The Louisiana Lottery Corporation, the winning ticket must be turned in by 5 pm today, January 9, 2025, to walk away with the money.

I must admit, I have purchased Powerball tickets in the past and have forgotten about them, so yes, it is easy to forget about your purchase, and I just hope that the person holding the winning ticket is reminded to check it.

The winning numbers on the ticket sold in Baton Rouge are as follows:

9 55 59 66 69 21

So, if you have any older Powerball tickets in your vehicle or at home, check the numbers, especially if you were in the Baton Rouge area in July of 2024.
