Louisiana law enforcement officials say they have arrested another person in connection with a plan to try to get drugs, cellphones, and other items into the jail.

Just this week officials with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office announced they arrested a corrections officer for allegedly being part of a scheme trying to get banned substances into the jail. While he was arrested last week, Sheriff Bobby Guidroz released the name of Timothy Lazare as the corrections officer who is alleged to have been part of a plan to bring banned items into the jail.

Now comes word from Sheriff Guidroz that 37-year-old Nicklous Thomas has been arrested, accused of being part of a group planning to try to bring drugs into the jail.
