Lafayette TV Station Makes More Layoffs Amidst Another Shake-Up
According to sources, television station KADN-TV has made five layoffs from the news department, and this comes on the heels of other layoffs in 2024.
The five layoffs at the Lafayette television station on Tuesday were all in the news department. The layoffs that have been confirmed include:
- Anchor Taylor Trache
- Producer Heather Corby
- Anchor Jeff Horchak
- Michael Crowley
- Another producer
We contacted Executive Director of News and Public Affairs Jim Parker, but he says he can't comment. In addition to Parker, we have reached out to Nanette Lavergne, the Vice President and General Manager of KADN, but she has not yet commented.
Back in October 2024, there were 19 people who were let go from KADN, including the morning show crew, among others. In May 2024, five production crew members were also let go from the station.
