Car Crashes Through Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
A scary scene Thursday afternoon from a church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
A video posted by WAFB shows a car inside of a church on Scenic Highway on Thursday, Aug. 15.
The Baton Rouge Fire Department responded to the crash at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church located at 9700 Scenic Highway.
While there is no word on what may have caused this crash, we know that the driver was taken into custody and appeared to be okay.
The Baton Rouge news station reports that debris is scattered across the property, and the video here shows the vehicle sitting near some of the pews in the church.
As you can see, there was an extensive amount of damage done to the structure of the building.
