A disturbance at Walk-On's in Broussard over the weekend has led to at least one arrest as police continue their investigation.

On Saturday (Mar. 13) we received reports from listeners that shots were fired at the Walk-On's located in Broussard. Despite rumors, Broussard Police told KLFY News 10 that there were no shots fired but a "gun was produced" during a physical altercation that took place "between people who knew each other" at the restaurant.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing a large number of cop cars in the parking lot Saturday evening as they drove down Highway 90 in Broussard. Others debated on social media over where and when the fighting took place while others went back and forth over the alleged shots fired. In the end, police determined that while a gun was involved, no shots were actually fired.

Police say the "large disturbance" reportedly took place around 6:20 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, and Latavian Locks (26) of New Iberia was arrested and charged with the Illegal carrying of a firearm and Terrorizing before being booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.

Police are still investigating the incident.
