Countless businesses and restaurants have been forced to close in Lafayette and surrounding areas for these reasons and now another locally owned and operated restaurant has announced they will be closing one of their two locations.

Market Eatz Broussard Announces Closure

Market Eatz took Lafayette by storm with the opening of its first location in Acadiana, at 819 E Broussard Rd, Suite 101, in February 2020. Two years later, Mclain Companies announced that the second Market Eatz location would be completed in the fall of 2022.

After two years of serving the Broussard community, they have announced they will be closing their doors in a post made on their social media saying:

"The path of entrepreneurship is often unpredictable, and while we’ve had many wins, we’ve also faced challenges that led us to a difficult decision for our Broussard location.

Thank you for all of the support. Please continue to support great, local food at our Lafayette location! And don’t forget to stop by and enjoy Happy Hour with us one more time in Broussard—ALL DAY Saturday!"

New Dining Experience Coming To Soon To Be Former Market Eatz Broussard Location

Fans of Market Eatz are invited to enjoy all of their favorite dishes at the Lafayette location and to keep an eye out for something new coming to the Broussard location.

According to the Market Eatz team, this is not goodbye for long.

We look forward to seeing what exciting new dining experience is headed to Broussard and we wish the Market Eatz Broussard team well on this new venture.
