According to the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office, escaped inmate Jada Landry was taken back into custody on Friday (March 20) around 9:00 a.m.

Authorities say the arrest was made possible through a coordinated effort involving the United States Marshals Serviceand the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office.

Officials have not yet released details about where Landry was located, but confirmed she is now being held at the Iberia Parish Jail.

Following her capture, Landry has been booked on several charges, including aggravated escape, resisting an officer with force or violence, aggravated assault, and theft under $1,000.
