Dustin Poirier’s Good Fight Foundation, Prejean’s Giving Out 500 Thanksgiving Meals to Families in Need

UFC star and Lafayette native Dustin Poirier's Good Fight Foundation are helping to feed families in need this Thanksgiving.

On Wednesday, November 23 from 8a-10a, The Good Fight Foundation will be set up at Prejean's (3840 NE Evangeline Thwy.) for their 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Meal Pickup.

Prejean's will be hosting the Thanksgiving meal pickup with The Good Fight Foundation to give out 500 Thanksgiving meals that are ready to prepare with plenty of food to feed a family.

Every meal will include:

• 1 spiral ham
• 1 can of yams
• 1 can of green beans
• bread rolls

An aluminum pan (for prep) will also be provided.

The meals will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis with a limit of one meal package per vehicle. The event is from 8a-10a or until all 500 meals are given away and they are expected to go fast, so let anyone in need know to get there sooner than later for the 2nd annual Thanksgiving Meal Pickup from The Good Fight Foundation hosted by Prejean's.

Please note that traffic will be routed in from the north side of the restaurant off of Thoroughbred to ensure the smoothest traffic for pickup.
