Two Louisiana favorites just connected for a collaboration that already feels like a perfect match.

Deano’s Pizza is bringing back its popular Shrimp Scampi Pizza for June, but this year’s version comes with an added local touch. The fan favorite is now loaded with Britscookin Garlic & Herb seasoning, creating a limited-time pizza that has already generated plenty of buzz among food lovers across Acadiana.

The June Pizza of the Month features Gulf shrimp sautéed in butter, lemon, parsley, and white wine, all piled atop Deano’s signature olive oil crust. Add in the Garlic & Herb seasoning from Britscookin, and what was already one of Deano’s most popular specialty pizzas has become one of the restaurant’s most talked-about menu items of the summer.

A Collaboration Born From One Taste

According to Deano’s owner Tim Metcalf, the partnership came together naturally.

"When I was given a sample of Brit's seasoning, I knew right away what we could do with it," Metcalf said. "We added it to our perfect Shrimp Scampi Pizza and it became perfection."

The collaboration pairs one of Acadiana's most recognizable restaurant brands with one of Louisiana's fastest-growing culinary personalities.

From Family Recipes To A Growing Brand

For Britney Landry, better known to millions online as Britscookin, the partnership represents something bigger than another business venture.

What began as sharing simple recipes online for friends and followers has grown into a thriving brand that includes Cajun and Garlic & Herb seasonings, merchandise, custom wooden spoons, and a loyal audience that stretches far beyond Louisiana.

Still, Landry says she never expected her social media presence to evolve into a full-fledged retail business.

"Honestly, no," she said when asked if she ever imagined recipes would lead to products on store shelves. "When I started sharing recipes online, I was just sharing what I cooked for my family. I never imagined it would turn into a business."

As her audience grew, she realized it was time to create products that reflected her own cooking style and South Louisiana roots.

"Being able to build a product that represents me, my cooking, and where I come from has been really special," she said.

Why This Partnership Means So Much

Despite building an audience that spans the country, Landry says this collaboration hits differently because it happened at home.

"This one is special because it's home," she explained. "I have followers all over the world, and I'm incredibly thankful for that, but community means everything to me."

Landry says seeing her name connected to a menu item at a restaurant she grew up knowing is a milestone she never expected.

"Having something with my name on a menu in my hometown is truly a dream come true."

More Local Collaborations Could Be Ahead

The success of the Deano's partnership may not be the last local collaboration fans see from Britscookin.

"I would love to work with more local businesses and restaurants," Landry said. "I think partnerships like this are a win-win."

She believes collaborations allow her to introduce followers to businesses she genuinely supports while helping local companies connect with new customers.

Supporting Louisiana businesses remains a priority as her brand continues to expand.

The Power Of Meeting Followers In Person

While social media helped build the Britscookin brand, Landry says connecting with followers face-to-face has become one of the most rewarding parts of her journey.

"Honestly, I'm not naturally an outgoing person, so meeting followers in person is still a little surreal to me," she said.

Whether someone shares memories of family recipes or talks about gaining confidence in the kitchen through her content, those interactions provide a reminder that the brand has become about much more than food.

"It reminds me that this is about so much more than just recipes."

A Busy Summer Beyond The Kitchen

When she's not creating content, developing recipes, or collaborating with local businesses, Landry plans to spend the summer focused on family.

She says baseball tournaments, lake days, and annual trips to Destin with her husband and two boys are what she's looking forward to most.

"Those weekends are some of my favorite memories," she said. "We get to spend time with friends and just enjoy being together as a family."

Try It Before It's Gone

The Deano's Shrimp Scampi Pizza, featuring Britscookin Garlic & Herb seasoning, is available only in June.

With positive reviews already rolling in and social media buzzing about the collaboration, fans of both brands may want to make plans sooner rather than later.

It's a collab that feels Louisiana unapologetically. A hometown restaurant, a hometown creator, Gulf shrimp, local seasoning, and just more proof that some of the best collaborations happen when local businesses support one another.

For foodies across Acadiana, this may be one special worth making room for.
