Robbery Suspects on the Run in Lafayette After Stealing Money from Bank ATM During Maintenance

The incident unfolded at the Capital One bank located at 4416 Ambassador Caffery Parkway. At approximately 10:25 AM, as an ATM technician was carrying out routine maintenance, they were approached by two individuals on foot. The culprits, described as unarmed black males, managed to flee with an undisclosed sum of money.
Authorities swiftly arrived at the scene upon receiving reports of the robbery in progress. However, the suspects had already vanished, leaving no immediate indication of their whereabouts.
The Lafayette Police are currently scouring the area, gathering evidence, and seeking out any leads that might shed light on the suspects' escape route. They are calling on anyone with information to come forward.
