Game officials with the multi-state lottery game Powerball say a single ticket sold over the weekend matched all the numbers needed to claim the game's top prize. This makes the second multi-million dollar winner in the Powerball game this month.

While we would never dare suggest that $92.9 million dollars are not a significant amount of cash but when you compare that to Powerball's last jackpot winner which was $2.04 billion dollars, we can understand why there are feelings of being let down by some.

If you did not see the drawing as it unfolded this past Saturday, November 19, 2022, here is the way the ping pong balls dropped.

According to the Powerball website, the number drawn were:

07   28   62   63   64   Powerball 10  Power Play x3

Game officials say a single ticket sold in Illinois came oh so close to claiming the game's top prize. They matched all the white ball numbers but not the Powerball so that ticket is worth $1,000,000 this morning.

In Louisiana, there were no major prizes of note. The top prize awarded to a Louisiana-sold ticket for Saturday's drawing was $300. Two tickets sold in the state matched the numbers needed to claim that amount. There were another four tickets sold in the state that are worth $100 this morning. So, it was not a huge day for lottery players in The Boot.

The game's top prize was sold at a store in northeast Kansas. The location where the ticket was purchased won't be announced until the jackpot is claimed. By rule,  in Kansas, the Powerball winner may remain anonymous.

Meanwhile, in Louisiana, there are still $410,000 in big-money lottery winners that have yet to be claimed. If you played Powerball in July, September, October, or November you could have at least $50,000 waiting on you. Here's where you can check your numbers.
