About the 'Back to the Honky Tonk Tour'
This will be a bit of a continuation for Blake Shelton and this particular tour. The 2023 version included 18 dates from February 16 through March 25.
Carly Pearce and Jackson Dean served as supporting acts for that tour.
Fans of Blake Shelton called this tour one of the best he's ever put on. Some of the highlights included amazing lighting and screens, as seen in the video below. There was also a special VIP section available along the extended stage where concertgoers could enjoy drinks served by bartenders during the show.
Touring for Shelton has been limited over the last few years due to his twice-a-year "coaching" duties on NBC's The Voice. Of course, he's off the show now, so perhaps a heavier touring schedule will be in his future.
When was the last time Blake Shelton played in Lafayette?
Our research (and bad memory) shows Blake Shelton has never headlined the Cajundome.
We believe the last time he played Lafayette was for the Cajun Heartland State Fair in 2002.
