New Orleans is Most Expensive U.S. City for Taylor Swift’s 2024 ‘Eras Tour’

If you're set to attend the Taylor Swift concert in New Orleans later this year, just know you'll be attending the most expensive city in the United States on the Eras Tour.

This is according to a new study by the experts at JeffBet, who calculated the average total cost of a one-night trip to the remaining U.S. cities on Swift's tour.

The methodology

JeffBet examined things like the median cost of hotel rooms at budget hotels, the price for meals and drinks, and transportation like Lyft or Uber rides.

The results of the study showed that the average cost for a one-night, one-day trip, is about $210. However, as you could probably figure, that does not include the cost of tickets.

What about current ticket prices?

Yeah, those ticket prices are pretty nuts right now. A glance at the secondary ticket site StubHub shows that the average ticket price is close to $2,000 for the upper sections.

Want to sit on the floor? Oh, that'll set you back $3,000 to $7,000 for seats near the stage.

Still, there is a ways to go before Tay-Tay comes to Louisiana.

There are five more months left of Taylor mania in the Bayou State. Swift's Eras Tour will be at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on October 25, 26, and 27.
