(KMDL-FM)- The 2025 Louisiana high school football regular season is officially in the books, and that means it’s playoff time.

The road to the Caesars Superdome and the 2025 LHSAA Prep Classic begins later this week for both Select and Non-Select schools in their respective divisions.

How the 2025 LHSAA Playoffs Are Structured

There are a total of eight divisions statewide — four in Select and four in Non-Select.

The Non-Select playoffs will include 28 teams, while the Select brackets will feature 24 teams.

As you’ll see in the brackets below, several of the top-ranked teams earned a first-round bye. The top four in each Non-Select division get byes, while the top eight in Select divisions do the same.

Looking Back: Acadiana’s 2024 Championship Season

Last season, Acadiana-area programs brought home several titles: Cecilia claimed the Division II Non-Select State Championship, Catholic High – New Iberia won Division III Select, and Vermilion Catholic captured the Division IV Select crown.
