
Lodge Cast Iron Opens First Louisiana Location
SLIDELL, La. (KMDL-FM) - It's no secret that we love our cookware in South Louisiana. Pots and pans are literally family heirlooms passed down for generations.
Since 1896, Lodge Cast Iron has been making heirloom-quality cast iron cookware, and they've now opened their very first Louisiana location.

Founded in 1896 by Joseph Lodge in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, Lodge Cast Iron has remained a family owned and operated company for over the past 120 years.
Lodge Cast Iron is known for making seasoned cast iron cookware like dutch ovens, skillets, camp ovens, and griddles as well as enameled cast iron, seasoned carbon steel cookware, and more.

Previously, Lodge Cast Iron has operated 5 locations in the U.S., 4 in their home state of Tennessee and one in Alabama but now they've opened their 6th location, the company's first location in Louisiana.

On December 11, 2025, Lodge Cast Iron opened their 4,500-square-foot store in Slidell, Louisiana. Located at 280 Town Center Parkway in The Fremaux Town Center, the new store is the company's very first Louisiana location.
