Life Storage In Lafayette Burglarized

Over the weekend of March 18 and 19, 66 storage units were broken into at Life Storage on Pinhook in Lafayette.

According to KLFY "Gunner Conquest, 24 of Lafayette is accused of breaking into 66 self-storage units at Life Storage and removing items from the units".

Not only was Conquest charged with 66 counts of burglary, but Lafayette Police also charged him with four counts of vehicle burglary.

The four counts of vehicle burglary occurred in the Glynwood and Glyndale areas according to KLFY.

Conquest was also charged with one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

For those playing along at home, that's a grand total of 71 counts against 24-year-old Gunner Conquest.

Conquest is currently being held in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on a $132,000 bond.

The charges could actually get a bit steeper for Conquest as Lafayette Police Spokesperson Sgt. Robin Green says they're waiting on other victims to come forth to get a complete tally of the value of items stolen.
