4-Year-Old Louisiana Boy Found Dead in Neighbor’s Pool
There is terribly sad news out of Livingston Parish as a 4-year-old boy was found drowned in a pool at a neighbor's pool late Thursday morning.
According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office, their deputies were called out to Meadow Lane, located in the Oak Hills subdivision in Watson, Louisiana, around 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 26, after receiving reports concerning a missing child.
Unfortunately, after a search assisted by family, friends, and neighbors, the boy was found in a neighbor's pool not far from his home.
The boy was found non-responsive and transported to a local hospital. There, he was pronounced dead of an apparent drowning.
No foul play is suspected at this time.
In a statement on Thursday, Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard called it a "tragic accident" but said an investigation into what happened is underway and ongoing.
