Need a good laugh? Then make plans for this Saturday, March 4th to be out at Angelle Hall on the campus of the University of Louisiana for the 32nd annual Cajun Comic Relief.

It's sure to be an evening of side-splitting laughter as several comedians from the Bayou State will deliver a couple of hours of non-stop humor and fun.

There's even something very unique for this year's event. The program will feature the new "Funniest Mayor Standing" competition. There are several Acadiana area mayors that will tell jokes for bragging rights and 20% of the event proceeds for their community projects.

Each mayor will have three minutes to entertain the crowd and a green-label panel of judges.

The evening will begin, though, with the comedic stylings of Ed Roy (yeah, THAT Ed Roy who spent years as a meteorologist on KATC-TV 3).

Wrapping up the evening will be a Cajun Comic Relief regular and favorite -- the Ragin' Cajun John Morgan.

Morgan is so loved by Acadiana that he was inducted into the Cajun Comic Relief Hall of Fame.

Before the show, there will be a sponsor party, but the public will also be invited to purchase tickets for this special reception. All the details about that plus ticket-buying information can be found below.
