Some unfortunate news for those who were hoping to see Aerosmith's “Peace Out: The Farewell Tour.”

It was recently announced on Aerosmith's Facebook page that they are going to have to postpone the remaining dates of their tour until 2024.

Lead singer Steven Tyler injured his vocal cords while performing one night and doctors say that the injury is much more severe than they initially thought.

According to the post on social media, Tyler not only injured his vocal cords, but the singer also fractured his larynx as well.

The rescheduled dates will be announced once doctors have a better idea of the severity of Tyler's injury.

Sadly, the iconic band had only been on their tour for a week prior to this inury, and they were set to make a 40-day run across the U.S.

Aerosmith was scheduled to wrap up their tour on Jan. 26 in Montreal. The closest that they were to come to Louisiana was in Dallas on Nov. 7th.

We hope that Tyler's injury heals quickly and that the band can resume their final run across the country to see their loyal fans.
