School Closures for Acadiana for 1/24 Due to Weather

Several inches of rain are likely to fall in several places in Acadiana today, and that has already prompted school closures.

Evangeline Parish

Evangeline Parish schools will be closed today due to the expected downpours throughout the day.

St. Landry Parish

St. Landry Parish officials say they will not be holding classes today.

Jeff Davis Parish

Jeff Davis Parish officials say they will not be holding classes today.

Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish officials say they will not be holding classes today.

Acadia Parish

Out of abundance of caution due to updated forecast for excessive rainfall, and reports of problems already this morning with transportation due to water, we will close all schools and district offices today, January 24th, Wednesday.
