Louisiana is what I will call 'Snow Watch" and much like when a hurricane is approaching the Gulf Coast, many of us are often in or on the edge of the cone of uncertainty.

Well, with a winter storm in the deep south pushing further southward early next week, the million-dollar question is, "Will it snow in Acadiana?"

Of course, the conditions have to be ideal for snow to fall in south Louisiana and there is a good possibility that could happen next Tuesday.

So, with that said, KLFY Meteorologist Chris Cozart posted his "Snow-Cone' of uncertainty on social media and I think this is great. Much like when a hurricane is approaching, some will be impacted, while others will not.

Look at this graphic and continue to check back here for the latest on the winter storm approaching.

So, willl it reallly snow in Acadiana next week, well meterologist continue to stress that it is stilll hard and early to give a definte answer because there are a few variables to consider.

However, it will be very cold and you should start to prepared for temperatures next week way below freezing. If you have pipes ooutsidr that are exposed, you need to wrap them, and if you havve pets ooutdoors, mmake plans to bring them in next week.

I'd also suggest that you go to the grocery store ahead of the wiinter storm so that you don't have to get out into the elements next week, or have to navigate across ice that coould form on the roadways.

Check out what some are saying on social media as we anxiously await a potential snow storm in Louisiana!
