(KTDY-FM) - Some parents in Louisiana were left scratching their heads after a video went viral of a woman dying her Easter eggs in a toilet bowl.

This woman named Kate posted the video of her dying her eggs in the toilet, and while it may sound disgusting, the end product is not bad.

Sure, many of us are traditionalists, and when it comes to dying our Easter eggs, most will dip them in warm water and add the dye. This woman on Instagram took her egg dying to a whole new level when she put them in the toilet bowl.

Watch as she puts the eggs in the toilet, then adds the food coloring to them, only to follow that up with baking soda. Once the eggs are covered with baking soda, she adds what appears to be vinegar, and a reaction occurs in the toilet.

More vinegar is added to the toilet bowl, and the result is some beautiful colored Easter eggs.

Now, no one is debating the outcome or color of the eggs; what most people have a problem with here is how the woman got the eggs to turn out as they did. Putting eggs in the toilet seems a bit disgusting, especially if anyone will be holding them or eating them once they are done with them.

But, for those who are looking for a quick and easy way to dye their Easter eggs this week, this is an option. Just don't tell anyone about your process.
