Louisiana Mother Says Motorized Jeep Moved Self, Then Caught Fire
A family in Hessmer, Louisiana is trying to figure out how a battery-operated Jeep moved itself from under their garage and then caught fire.
Layken ONeal posted a video on social media that shows the jeep driving off, without anyone inside, and it stops in the yard. Four minutes later, the small toy jeep was engulfed in flames.
ONeal tells me that at 10:10 she got an alert on her phone that there was movement under her garage, and that is when the small kid's jeep moved itself. Minutes later her babysitter called her to tell her the kid's toy jeep was on fire.
The mother says that she believes a higher power saved their home and perhaps the lives of those inside the dwelling.
She says it's important to note that they did modify the battery on the Jeep, but what made it take off on its own? And had the jeep remained in place, would it have caught the steps on fire where it was parked?
The local fire department responded to this fire and was able to extinguish it before anything else was damaged.
I showed this video to family and friends and like Layken we are scratching our heads. How did this toy jeep just move itself, and then catch fire? Was it a spirit that saved this house and family? We may never know.
We're just glad that no one was injured in this very bizarre fire. Check out this shocking video of the jeep moving itself, which was caught on security surveillance video from the home in Hessmer.
