Credit Card Skimmer Found in South Louisiana Walmart Store

A group of individuals allegedly installed a credit skimmer at the Walmart store in Eunice, Louisiana.

The Eunice Police Department shared photos of the individuals that they say allegedly installed the instrument in the store.

According to the post on Facebook, Eunice P.D. says that the woman in the photo below distracted an employee in the store and that is when the men allegedly installed the device.

With a credit skimmer, individuals can gain access to your credit card or debit card information and make transactions on your card.

This is the same device that some have used in gas pumps to get access to your funds in recent years. And like at gas pumps, when you use a keypad to make payments if something feels loose or appears to have been altered, DO NOT use it and notify a store employee.

The Eunice Police is asking for your help in identifying the individuals below. They ask for you to contact them if you recognize the individuals in their social media post.

All persons bere are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

In a separate case, Lafayette Crime stoppers is also looking for a group of individuals who allegedly did the same thing at a store in Lafayette.

Are these the same people? Some on social media believe that it is.
