The Christmas Grinch is still in Louisiana.

Sure, Christmas has come and gone, but some places are still decorated with Christmas decor and someone in Jefferson Parish allegedly burnt sheds that housed Christmas decor.

Jefferson Parish authorities are investigating a fire that damaged Christmas decorations in Lafreniere Park.

According to a social media post by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, "Two plastic sheds that housed animatronic Christmas displays were destroyed, along with additional Christmas items."

It is estimated that the fire in the park resulted in $100,000 in damage.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the JPSO Arson Section at 504-364-5300 or contact Crimestoppers.

Authorities believe that they were able to recover evidence from the scene that may help them in solving this case.

Still, it is sad to see or hear about someone damaging things are are out for kids during the holidays.
