(Baton Rouge, Louisiana) - Brian Kelly and LSU have gone their separate ways, but that doesn't seem to have tarnished how the former coach feels about LSU and his players.

Yesterday, we shared here his final email to the staff at LSU, and there seemed to be no ill will towards the university that had employed him for the last four years. Now, we have a message from Coach Kelly looking back on his years at LSU, and you can tell that it was written from the heart.

Regardless of how you feel about Kelly, I hope you can set aside your feelings when reading the message below. Kelly thanks LSU for the memories, noting that although he didn't achieve all he had set out to do while in Baton Rouge, he and his staff accomplished many things.

Coach Kelly said that he and his family will never forget Baton Rouge, and that he will always admire the roar that comes with Tiger Stadium on Saturday nights.

More so, the former coach takes pride in leading several young men into the NFL and others across the stage for graduation.

While this doesn't feel llike a "normal" LSU and Alabama week, Coch Kelly said that he will be tuned into the game this Saturday night and that he will be cheering for his former team. He also wishes Coach Wilson the best.

While the journey at LSU has come to an end for Brian Kelly, he says that the journey will last with him and his family for a lifetime.
