It's been a rough start for Billy Napier in Florida, and it seems to only be getting more difficult by the week.

The former Cajun's coach has had the success he and the fans hoped for since arriving in Gainesville, and the 2024 football season hasn't started well.

The Gators and Napier hosted in-state rival, the Miami Hurricanes, to open the season and the Gators were blown off the field by the Hurricanes.

Napier's struggles weren't only on the field last Saturday because after the defeat while addressing the media, Coach Napier grabbed a bottle of water from the podium where he was standing and he struggled to get it open, and it set the internet on fire.

Many Gator fans poked at the former Cajuns coach for not even being able to beat a water bottle, and you could just sense that Napier knew that this would not end well.

Watch as Coach Napier, who many say is coaching this year for his job in Florida, battles a water bottle after a recent loss. I guess we can say that Coach Billy Napier is 0-2 this season, even though his team has only played one game thus far.

We wish him better luck with the next bottle he attempts to open.

A few days later, Billy Napier was before the press when he said that his team can get better if they ignore some fans on social media. The Gators coach said that he and his team can't listen to fans who are in the basement. As you may imagine, these comments did sit well with some fans.
