The multiple parades, festivities, and parties of Mardi Gras have made for another fantastic season for Mardi Gras in Louisiana, and the many photos that have been shared show this.

In the weeks since Monday, January 6, the beginning of Mardi Gras season 2025, dozens of balls, multiple parades, and hundreds of thousands of throws have soared through the air in our state.

It's impossible to recount every gloriously fun activity, but here, we will share various photos from throughout the season, including outfits, parades, floats, and fun throws.

Here is a picture from the back of a truck with the throws one paradegoer caught during the Krewe of Bonaparte parade on Saturday, March 1.

There were dozens of floats in the Carencro parade that rolled on Saturday, February 15.

There were tons of great floats, and memorable people on each float including this woman who was sporting large beads.

In one of the pictures that we were given permission to share, our friend Chris was able to catch a couple of these that have become popular. You have to love things that are fun and useful.

We have seen all kinds of fun things and, of course, unusual throws that people caught at a Mardi Gras parade this year. Kevin Arceneaux shared this photo of a pair of boxing gloves with us.

One of the hottest items being thrown from 2025 floats this year was giant rubber chickens.

We also found some people wearing great outfits and boots while at Mardi Gras parades this season.

Christopher Manuel really caught a useful item and something to eat as well.

We take a trip to New Orleans, where Guy Vizena with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office was the recipient of a bundle of one of the most desired treasures thrown from a Mardi Gras float: glass beads. Check out their beauty.

One of the items caught by Kevin Arcenaux was something delicious.

In Lafayette, everyone has heard of the Bead King, but not everyone is lucky enough to catch a Bead King pillow. Chris Manuel shared a photo of his catch with us.

And, it wouldn't be Mardi Gras in Lafayette with a brew and a Moon Pie!

You can't have Mardi Gras in Lafayette without getting a glimpse of this guy. For years, this gentleman has walked the parade route during each of the Lafayette parades wearing this huge necklace.
