The products being recalled come from Custom Made Meals out of Denver, Colorado. This recall is for more than 1,300 pounds of bacon wrapped jalapenos. The products contain milk which is a known allergen, but the label does not have milk listed as one of the ingredients.

These bacon wrapped jalapeno products involved in the recall were made on August 30, 2023.

What Product Is Included in the Recall?

"Variable weight black plastic trays with clear top film containing "Bacon-Wrapped BBQ Seasoned Chicken Grillers" and a code date of "USE BY 21-SEPT-23" represented on the label."

The Food Safety and Inspection Service says these items were shipped to retail locations in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, and Texas.

This goof up was discovered when Custom Made Meats got information from a grocery company about an incorrect label on the package of food.

To date, there have been no confirmed reports of any health issues because of this improper label. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact your  healthcare provider.

FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers' refrigerators and/or freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

Consumers with questions about the recall can contact Custom Made Meals, LLC, Customer Service at (303) 227-4993 or info@custommademeals.com.
