Just when you think scammers can't go any lower, they go lower.

Vaccines

It's okay if you are somehow not willing to be vaccinated. We are at a place where some can choose to do it while others may not. I'm certainly not going to lose sleep over someone else's healthcare choices. As someone who has been vaccinated and immunized against the latest strains, I'm certainly happy that I feel like I've protected myself and the people around me.

The Scam

Just like the flu shot, the COVID shots are updated to reflect the latest strains. Those strains are constantly evolving so immunologists do their best to anticipate whats spreading so that it can be contained somewhat. This is where the scammers come in. You do need boosters to be protected against the latest strain and sometimes they can be in high demand. The scammers are now sending out Phishing emails so that you can "reserve your place in line" for the next vaccine.  Have a look at the email I received:

How Are You Certain It's A Scam?

My suspicions were aroused once again by the fact that the email was sent to the name "Wes Nessman" which is my radio name and not the legal name that my healthcare providers would have. Also, the last booster was released in the Fall.  At that point, I did a quick Google search and this is Scam-O-Rama! This is among MANY COVID-19 scams that are out there. As with a lot of scams, they try to turn your fear into you making a rash decision, then they take advantage of you with Malware and/or other scammer hijinks.
