Iberia Parish Man Dies After Being Shot

The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office was called out the eleven thousand block of Pecan Street last night after they got a medical call.

Deputies found a man dead of a gunshot wound. The man was found lying the driveway of the home.

Deputies gave the man medical aid, but to no avail, and the man was pronounced dead by the Iberia Parish Coroner's Office.

The 49-year-old male victim's death is being investigated as a homicide.
