If you're heading to Baton Rouge in the coming months, you'll want to know about the I-10 Mississippi River bridge lane closures.

If you were heading to Baton Rouge for any LSU games this year, you don't have anything to worry about as far as lane closures. They're not gonna close them for the games. Here's what they will close them for, though.

On Wednesday the eastbound right lane of the bridge will be closed from 8:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m, according to the state Department of Transportation and Development.

On Thursday the inside left lanes for both eastbound and westbound traffic will be closed.

Lane closures will resume on Sunday night and continue for the next two to three weeks except for football games, DOTD officials said.

The lane closures are are due to rust removal, and painting.
