DOTD crews are out this week on Interstate 10 in Lafayette and St. Martin Parishes, either performing needed maintenance or working to complete the I-10 Widening Project scheduled to be finished this summer.

Be on the lookout for workers as they will be working on the following projects this week:

  • I-10 EASTBOUND EXIT RAMP AT EXIT 115 - LA 347 (HENDERSON/CECILIA): Closed until Wednesday at 6 AM as crews restripe the roadway and shift traffic to new lane configurations. DETOUR: Eastbound traffic wanting to access Exit 115 (LA 347-Henderson/Cecilia) is to continue on I-10 eastbound to Exit 121 (Butte La Rose- LA 3177) and then west on LA 3177 (Atchafalaya River Highway) to I-10 westbound.
  • WESTBOUND I-10 ENTRANCE AND EXIT RAMPS AT EXIT 109 (LA 328, BREAUX BRIDGE), EXIT 104 (LOUISIANA AVENUE) AND EXIT 103B (I-49 NORTHBOUND): There will be 1 hour, short-term intermittent ramp closures from 8 PM Wednesday until 6 AM Thursday. DOTD crews will be restriping the roadway and shifting traffic to new lane configurations.
  • I-10 EASTBOUND AND WESTBOUND ON THE ATCHAFALAYA BASIN BRIDGE IN ST. MARTIN AND IBERVILLE PARISHES: There will be alternating lane closures as DOTD crews perform a sweeping operation on Thursday and Friday nights - from 9 PM until 6 AM each night.
  • I-10 WESTBOUND FROM MILE MARKER 117 (ATCHAFALAYA BASIN BRIDGE) TO MILE MARKER 114 (LA 347 - HENDERSON): There will be alternating lane closures on Sunday night from 7 AM until midnight as crews will be performing roadway testing.
