Hugh Hefner's widow, Crystal won't inherit the playboy mansion. Why? Prenup? Nope. Hef's estate doesn't own it. He sold the mansion in 2016. Hef bought it for a reported $1.1 million in 1971. People reports, Daren Metropoulos, co-owner of Hostess brands, bought the property next door 8 years ago. Hef sold him the Playboy Mansion for a reported $100 million last year. The contract stipulated Hefner be allowed to stay in the mansion 'til his death. Former playmate Courtney Culkin referred to the mansion as a "safe haven." Carmen Electra called it an "Adult Disneyland." Metropoulos plans to renovate the two properties, forming a 7.3 acre compound.
