Insane Hockey Brawl Ends With Ref Punching Player, Trainer Tackling Ref [VIDEO]
We've seen terrible sportsmanship. We've seen terrible referees. We've seen terrible coaches. But this insane hockey brawl took things to an entirely new level.
The video opens up as gloves came off and hockey players exchanged blows on the ice. As multiple officials seemed to get the situation under control, one referee was still struggling to settle one player down. The ref is then seen throwing a punch at the player, then knocking him to the ice.
As if that wasn't crazy enough, a trainer runs out onto the ice and tackles the ref to the ground!
The brawl took place back on November 20, 2015, but on January 18, 2016 the GMHL released an official statement on the incident in the wake of the footage going viral.
