Have You Seen ‘The Tree of Soles?’ [PHOTO]

A listener submitted this photo to me and it has me wanting to visit this site.

The photo is of a tree with shoes attached to it. As the sign says here, its the "Tree of Soles." 

This tree was selected for individuals to visit it and hang their burdens (shoes) on it. The sign also encourages people who visit it to say a prayer so that their burdens become lighter.

I had NO IDEA this tree/site existed, but its worth a visit. The tree is located on Rock Road between Scott and Duson.

In this wild age we live in, it may not be a bad idea to sit under this tree when you're having a bad.
