Goodwill Industries of Acadiana To Assist Those Affected By Flood

Goodwill of Acadiana tells us that they will hold a special shopping day Wednesday, August 17 for those affected by the recent floods.

Goodwill stores will have vouchers for people affected by the flood to pick up needed clothing items free of charge.

Residents of Acadiana who have been affected by flood waters can go to any of Goodwill’s 11 retail locations  between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Wednesday. They will register at a table set up just for Flood Relief assistance, and can receive up to 10 items per person at no cost.

Those items include clothing, shoes, belts, undergarments and linens. We ask that only those affected by the storm stop at the table.
