Godsmack, Five Finger Death Punch + More Set To Rock The Sea For ShipRocked 2012
The fourth annual ShipRocked cruise kicks off on Nov. 27 and includes massive acts such as Godsmack, Five Finger Death Punch, Sevendust, P.O.D., In This Moment, Black Stone Cherry, Filter, Fuel and others.
Cruise guests will enjoy numerous performances from each band on different stages located all over the ship. Fans will also be part of artist meet-and-greets and question-and-answer sessions, as well as artist-hosted events such contests, game shows, memorable parties, theme nights and much more.
Sevendust drummer Morgan Rose, who played ShipRocked in 2010 and 2011, says, “Being invited to be a part of ShipRocked again is amazing. We’ve had an awesome time the past two years. It gives us a chance to be so close to the people, while on tour it’s nearly impossible to do that. I hope to see all of our fans on the boat!”
If you need a break from the music once in a while, there’s a lot more to do on the ship than hang out with rock stars (but why would you not want to hang out with rock stars?). You can jump into swimming pools and whirlpools or hit the fitness center after the all-you-can-eat cuisine. Not to mention, the ship also has a miniature golf course, tennis court, jogging track, cigar lounge, wine bar, Vegas-style casino, and a 12,000 square-foot spa just to name a few other services.
ShipRocked producer Alan Koenig of ASK4 Entertainment states, “Our fourth annual voyage is poised to be our biggest and best sailing yet, and we couldn’t be more excited to have GODSMACK at the helm. SR12 will include some of the biggest names in modern hard rock, as well as a generous helping of new bands to watch out for in the future. Of course, it wouldn’t be a ShipRocked cruise without a few of the amazing artists who have helped make the last three decades sound so good.”
Vacation packages start at $799 per person (double occupancy) and include exclusive access to all ShipRocked concerts and special events, deluxe stateroom, meals, ship activities, entertainment and more. Guests are also able to choose their specific cabin when booking a reservation.
The cruise begins in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., on Nov. 27, and sails for four days hitting spots such as the Caribbean with ports of call in Key West, Florida and Nassau, Bahamas (which subject to change). The cruise returns to Ft. Lauderdale on Dec. 1. Additional bands will be announced in the coming weeks; for more information, check out GetShipRocked.com.
