‘Ghostbusters’ Legend Harold Ramis Dead At 69

Harold Ramis, who played Egon in Ghostbusters among many other awesome things, has died at the age of 69.  He was surrounded by family when he passed.

Ramis died of the rare autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis, which is a swelling of the blood vessels. Complications began in 2010.

A huge part of my childhood is gone. Harold Ramis was, as mentioned before, Egon in Ghostbusters, but he also wrote and directed a lot of classics including Groundhog Day, Caddyshack, Stripes, and many more.
