As we approach Halloween, there's no better way to get in the mood than by enjoying performances of some of the creepiest writings ever. Spend "An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe," as presented by the UL Lafayette School of Music and Performing Arts.

They will perform six pieces of Poe's work, including The Purloined Letter, The Oblong Box, The System of Dr.Tarr and Professor Feather, The Fall of the House of Usher and The Cask of Amontillado.
