Former President George H.W. Bush Hospitalized In Houston
The elder former President Bush is recovering in a Houston area hospital.
Bush, 92, was hospitalized since the weekend after having a shortness of breath. He has been at Houston Methodist Hospital since Saturday. It is reported that he is responding very well to treatments. Doctors are hopeful that they will release him soon.
Serving as Vice President under Ronald Reagan, Bush became the 41st president of the United States. He stayed in the White House for four years.
His public appearances have been few and far between since he hit his 90's, not counting his quasi-famous skydiving 90th birthday celebration. He was hospitalized twice in 2014, once for pneumonia, and again for breathing problems. In 2015 he broke a bone in his neck after falling at the family home in Maine.
We wish former President Bush a speedy recovery!
