News of the Foo variety just keeps on coming. NME.com is reporting that Foo Fighters will celebrate Record Store Day next month with the release of a covers album. "Medium Rare" will be released on vinyl in participating stores on April 16. The album will feature covers of artists including Paul McCartney and Wings, Cream, Thin Lizzy, Pink Floyd and The Ramones. The album will also feature Dave Grohl and company’s popular covers of Prince’s “Darling Nikki” and Gerry Rafferty’s “Baker Street.”
