Man, I can remember running into Follett's Bookstore on campus to grab a scan-tron sheet and pencils before class countless times, stopping in to chat with my cousin Becky who worked there, or grabbing a Diet Coke after class. Follett's was a landmark on the U.L. campus that outlived Mr. Cook, Megabytes Internet Cafe, and many others. The bookstore was located on St. Mary Boulevard, between Rex and Johnston Streets, but it's now closed forever. The Lafayette location is no longer listed on Follett's corporate website and the store's phone is disconnected. Now join me in a collective moment of silence...So long Follett's
