Five Finger Death Punch + Volbeat to Co-Headline Fall 2014 Tour – Win Tickets + Signed Guitar!
It's on! Five Finger Death Punch and Volbeat are known for bringing great live shows to their fans, and the two bands have just announced a co-headlining fall 2014 U.S. tour (see dates below). But that's not all! The trek will also feature support from Hellyeah and red-hot upstarts Nothing More, making it sure to be one of the top tours of 2014. Loudwire wants you to be there and we've teamed with the bands to offer you the chance to win tickets, plus get your hands on an autographed guitar.
Our contest allows you the chance to win tickets to the show of your choosing on the upcoming trek, plus a Dean EVO XM electric guitar that will be signed by various members of the bands while on tour.
Shortly after the tour was announced this morning (May 6), 5FDP guitarist Zoltan Bathory told Loudwire that touring with Volbeat is something the band has always wanted to do. "It's always been a scheduling issue and to synchronize it was always tough … but finally here it is," says Bathory. "And it's important to us because these are two rock bands that are very relevant right now and both bands have a pretty serious draw."
The guitarist added that while it is a co-headlining trek, there's enough diversity to make it feel like a festival. "You have a band like Volbeat who is capable of drawing thousands and thousands of people on their own and we're capable of doing the same thing, so this is going to be a really, really big show," explained Bathory. "Even though it's a co-headlining tour and it is our tour, it's still going to give you that feeling that a festival would, cause you are exposed to people that haven't seen you before."
The 27-date arena tour kicks off Sept. 16 at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, and runs through Oct. 24 in Las Vegas. Five Finger Death Punch will be touring in support of their two 2013 albums, 'The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell' Parts 1 and 2, while Volbeat will be embarking on another North American leg in support of their 'Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies' album.
Hellyeah's 'Blood for Blood' album doesn't arrive until June 10, but the group will be in full tour mode when the trek starts, and Nothing More are on their way to being one of 2014's breakout bands with their self-titled disc, due June 24.
