Every Time I Die Enter Studio With Producer Kurt Ballou To Work On Seventh Album
Progressive hardcore heroes Every Time I Die have just announced their return to the studio. Continuing the momentum created by 'Ex Lives' in 2012, Every Time I Die look to create their most impressive sounding album yet, and with Converge's Kurt Ballou confirmed to produce the record, expectations for ETID's seventh studio album will be huge.
With the release of 'Ex Lives,' Every Time I Die attained their highest charting album to date, landing at No. 20 on the Billboard Charts. The album brought Every Time I Die praise from fans and critics as well, so the band is currently in striking distance of elevating their status once again with this upcoming record.
Every Time I Die vocalist Keith Buckley has just released a statement addressing the band's decision to choose Kurt Ballou as the new album's producer:
Kurt Ballou had always intimidated the living s--t out of me, so I was overjoyed when the decision was made to record our next record with him at GodCity and I mean that sincerely. I've been a fan of his work for over a decade. His records are terrifying and moving and they sound like they were written and recorded under great duress, which is exactly how this style of music should be made. This month we join the pantheon. I couldn't be more excited to see what he helps us learn about our own band that we didn't realize for the past 15 years.
Once Every Time I Die complete their recording process, the hardcore act will hit the road for the 2014 Warped Tour. For the full Warped Tour lineup and tour dates, click here.
