Eddie Van Halen Dead at 65

Eddie Van Halen has reportedly passed away at the age of 65.

TMZ.com reports legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen "has died after a long battle with throat cancer."

According to TMZ's report, Eddie passed away at St. Johns Hospital in Santa Monica, Ca with his wife Janie by his side.

"We're told in the last 72 hours Eddie's ongoing health battle went massively downhill -- doctors discovered his throat cancer had moved to his brain as well as other organs."
