Downtown Alive! Battle Of The Bands Info

Planet Radio 1051 and Downtown Alive! are giving four local bands a chance at the big time! Battle it out with other local bands and show Downtown Alive! If you have what it takes to perform a 15 min set at Parc San Souci opening for bands like the UL Big Band and Johanna Divine, Chubby Carrier, Richard Lebouef, Blayze & Saddles and Maker’s Reel. Keep reading for all the info you need!

This is the perfect chance to show Lafayette what local talent is brewing right in our backyards, and you may land a chance to play at another Downtown event, or even Downtown Alive!

All genres welcome!

To enter, please post three videos of live performance links to the Downtown Alive! Facebook Fan Page showing off three songs of your choice by March 7.

Fans and locals will then get the chance to vote for their favorite four bands until March 14th. From there, there will be an online voting form where locals and fans will be able to vote for their favorite of the four bands until May 22.

The opening act with the most likes will get a chance to perform at another Downtown event, or Downtown Alive!
