Donald Trump Unveils New ‘Communications Platform’ in Response to Social Media Bans
Former President Donald Trump is launching what his team calls a new "communications platform."
Trump was banned from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat back in January following the Capitol insurrection. The sites claimed that Trump violated their rules.
Now, the former President has found a way to share his thoughts, opinions, and hot takes in a subsection of his website called "From the Desk of Donald of Donald J. Trump."
Some have criticized the launch, pointing out that it's essentially just a blog, but a source familiar with the platform says it is just that.
This is just a one-way communication. This system allows Trump to communicate with his followers.

In a time of silence and lies, a beacon of freedom arises. A place to speak freely and safely. Straight from the desk of Donald J. Trump
Although he has launched his own communications method, an oversight panel is reportedly set to rule on whether or not former President Trump will be allowed to return back to Facebook as early as this week.
