During yesterday's panel for 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' at Comic-Con 2013, we got our very first look at the new Caesar, played by Andy Serkis. Much has changed for Caesar since the first film -- he's now leading his very own army of primates, bent on world domination. And now we can share a new image of Caesar with you.

Over at the official 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' Facebook page, the production shared the below still from the upcoming sequel, featuring Caesar as he leads his army of primates with war paint on his face -- the paint is light, but you can see some white covering his face, and a streak of red going down his forehead. Caesar looks very dominant and confident, and behind him are other chimpanzees, awaiting his orders.

We learned at the panel yesterday that this film takes place 10 years after 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes,' in a world where the same chemical that makes the apes smarter (and proved deadly to humans in the first film) has spread like a virus, now labeled "Simian Flu." Caesar will be teaching his primate compatriots how to communicate, and we'll see how they eventually take over the world, leading us to the events of the original 'Planet of the Apes' film.

'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' also stars Jason Clarke, Keri Russell, Gary Oldman, and Kodi Smit-McPhee and hits theaters on July 18, 2014.
