Opelousas Mayor Julius Alsandor is quarantining in his home after testing positive for COVID-19, according to our news partners at KATC.
He says his only symptoms so far have been a light headache and a low-grade fever.
Face masks are required to enter City Hall, which is still open to the public. Employees have been notified.
